Since my camera battery is dead, I can't capture my kids frolicking joyfully in the thunderstorm outside. I try to stop them, citing the danger of possible lightning that follows thunder. And that might be true. But, really, I just hate the mess that a rain playdate means for me. But today, I said yes. My kids love the rain. They run and scream and splash and pour cups of muddy puddle water over each other's heads. That is bliss. And I guess it is worth a few extra towels, some puddles, and an extra bath.
In fact, I should probably join them.
