We had a grea Adventure Club right before Independence Day. We had a red-white-blue potluck (though I didn't get a picture of my awesome blueberry/strawberry/apple flag) at the House in the Horseshoe in Sanford. There was a skirmish there in the Revolutionary war. I told some short stories about America's fight for independence and read snippets of the Declaration of Independence. Then we ate and went through the house, counting bullet holes in the wall and thanking our lucky stars that we don't have chamber pots!
