A Day at the Market

There is a local living history farm, The Claude Moore Memorial Farm, that gives a peek into life in 1775. It is fascinating and fun every time we visit, but we've long wanted to go to one of their Market Fairs. Finally, we made it! They had the usual colonial attractions as well as multiple chickens roasting on several spits, a busty slackrope walker, a fencing class, and random madrigal singers. It was a wonderful day.

Bobbing Success!

And she can pull a stick!

Isaac would have been a great colonial boy. . . if he could have watched Harry Potter of course.

What a fun place. I'll have to add it to my list of places to visit!
